In a bowl, combine 550g of flour, 5 tablespoons of oil, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Knead the mixture with approximately 400ml of warm water. In the end, form a dough ball, coat it with oil, and cover it with plastic wrap and a cloth. Let it rest at room temperature for half an hour.
Finely chop one large onion and mix it with 400g of ground beef. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, oil, and water to the meat mixture.
When the dough rises, roll it out thinly.
Place a portion of the meat mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
Roll the dough with the filling into a log shape.
Cut the rolled dough into smaller portions.
Place the cut portions in a baking dish, leaving some space between each piece.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes or until the pastry turns golden brown.
